Learn & Play
Our program is entirely play-based, drawing on the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and the Early Years Learning Framework as the basis for best practice in early childhood education and learning.
Our daily program offers:
play experiences in indoor and outdoor environments;
experiences based on the children’s interests, including imaginative play, construction, art, cooking, story-telling, music, investigation, fine motor skills and problem solving;
a safe and caring environment in which your child can build confidence in their abilities, extend their communication skills, be creative and learn early literacy and numeracy concepts.
Our unique location offers:
hands-on learning in the integrated ecosystems of our vegetable gardens, chicken coop, worm farm, composting and native beehive;
a large playground which includes a digging patch, sandpit, fort, swing, cubby house, sound corner, construction zone, open spaces and private nooks, providing ample room for imaginative play, physical challenges and investigation;
a well-equipped, accessible stand-alone building with high-quality, open-ended resources, books, musical instruments, art and craft materials and artefacts.
